Brianna & Mark Carey

Cody Isabel is a neuroscientist and co-founder of Rewrite and Rise, a coaching service that uses neuroscience and behavioral science to help people heal their brain after emotional abuse.

Today we’re chatting to Cody about healing trauma from a neuroscience perspective. We gain a fascinating insight into the different parts of the IFS (Internal Family Systems) and how they might be affecting our relationships and our motivation levels.

In this deeply captivating conversation, Cody explains how healing is achieved through remembering the goodness of all of our parts, connecting peacefully with them, and finding a new balance in which all parts are respected.

Tune in to find out:

  • How trauma can get stored in our bodies from a young age
  • How the IFS (Internal Family Systems) offers a powerful way to work with the psyche
  • How you can differentiate and elevate the Self so it can be an effective leader in the system
  • How to integrate exiles into the Self so we can heal and become more self-led
  • What neuroscience can tell us about sexual connection and intimacy
  • Why taking action can get you out of a funk and into a state of motivation
